Good day Phellow parrotheads,,

As a Montrealer, my Buffett concert experiance has to take place away from home ,:Boston, New York, Connecticut, Toronto - well, you get the point - anywhere but here. However, today(March 18 ) as reported by our local radio station CJAD, the DJ reported the Jimmy was skiing on the slopes of Mont. Tremblant, about an hour an a half north of Montreal. ( I live about an hour from the mountain). Although the dj tried to contact Jimmy ( he did state that he is a parrothead), and he was able to allegedly phone to Jimmy's room , he was intercepted by one of Jimmy's spokes people.

Interesting fact - Mont Tremblant has it's own airport - I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy flew in himself.

Funny thing - the weather seems to have turned towards spring like conditions!!!..;o)

Just don't tell us he was enjoying the apres ski and decided to pull out his guitar and do a few tunes at one of the local watering holes.

Us Canuckians that would have made the drive would be very depressed.

And I'm closer than Lefty... just over here in Ottawa, and I believe Tremblant is about 90 min drive....
Why do I have to go to work tomorrow? Isn't it spring skiing time?

I think some one needs to tell Jimmy where the real skiing is in Canada. Is all on the West Coast over here in BC. One place in particular is rated best in North America and has ample great places to do some sort of small show.

My daughter is in Montréal ... she will be excited to know she was "close" to JB!

I want to hear more... is JB skiing or snowboarding? Or, in the rain we're having today, perhaps surfing or snorkeling?
How long will he be there? Will he come over to visit me today, since the weather's so ugly?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for proving my husband wrong... he is from Quebec City and is convinced not one Quebecer knows who the heck Jimmy Buffett is!

Well..I can tell you i can count at least 10 people who are here in Montreal..convinced a work buddy to take his family to Margaritavillein Myrtle Beach and my brother to take his family to Orlando margaritavile.....plus my son who is 17 and in collage is actively playing Jimmy songs for all his friends - very nice to hear and see the reactions "oh, yes we know Jimmy Buffet music" is a quote I hear.
