More importantly -- Buffettbride, where and when was this pic taken?
And how did you partake in such a RARE opportunity? Did he talk to you afterward? (Did he get your number? haha) Do tell!
Thanks to BN I got to go to the Belly Up show in Aspen in 2005. He didn't have any Reeferettes with him, so he picked some from the audience. [smilie=battingeyes.gif] [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

That's so cool, but not sure what BN is. Buffettnews? How'd you get such awesome seats to get picked out so easily by Jimmy?

You probably did the right thing if it was Jimmy. Imagine you are with your significant other enjoying the view on the beach in Maui trying to enjoy a private moment and strangers keep walking up and disrupting your private moment. It probably isn't always good to be Jimmy I'm thinking.

BN is BuffettNews.

And there weren't exactly seats. It was a small bar with maybe a couple hundred people. I was just right in front of the stage on the dance floor.

I am sure it probably was him since I was in Maui in Jan it makes sense that I would miss him.
I would probably just stare uncontrollably and not be able to say anything.
Then I would cry with excitement when he left.

That's pretty much what happened to me. I was soooo sure it was him, that I couldn't go up to him cuz I got so nervous -- my heart started pounding and my palms got sweaty. It's funny, when you imagine in your head what it would be like to meet someone like Jimmy, you're all confident and sure of yourself and think you know what you would do in such the situation. But when the moment actually arises, all that flies out the window. I did stare when I saw him and was saddened when I realized I missed out on the opportunity. It may not have been him, but boy, just the possiblility really gets your mind going.

It's funny how celebrities are always shorter than what you perceive them to be. I saw Samuel L. Jackson this week (in the strangest place), and I always perceived him to be well over 6ft, but I am 5'11 and he was maybe an inch or two shorter than me.

I know, I thought Conan O'Brian was super-short -- to me, he had this Michael J. Fox stature to him. But when I saw him stand next to a very tall celebrity, Conan towered over him. I knew Jimmy was not tall, but I didn't think he was under 5'10"!

I only saw her once, very briefly, and it was more than a year ago. Notice I said I "saw" her, I didn't meet her.

....but we digress. Or, should I say, we go back to the topic.
(haha) Anyone know what Jimmy does on his time off from touring?
