Yeah ... I read that in the Globe.

Most interesting to me was this part:

"City police have now said they will respond to all matching addresses."

And I can't wait to read the follow-up stories about how awful it is when the police break into a home at the wrong address - causing damage and frightening the residents.

That seems like a great use of tax $'s. You would think with all of the technology available, the PD could use Ln/Lat to help locate where the problems truely are.

Oh this is a HUGE problem

I'm an EMT in the city and we always have to clarify - WHICH Washington Street etc before we take off screaming down the road toward the wrong neighborhood

The police went to the wrong address and still got to the right one only 14 mins after the initial call? That's really good I wish our police here were that fast!
