Just starting to notice this problem here, now that my son is 15.
He said all the kids at school are talking about getting high from DXM... using Delsym as the cough suppressant of choice, because it has no other additives besides the DXM.

What happen to the good old days of smokin a dubie, seriously you wanted a decent prescription you raided your parent's medicine cabinet and took their Valium. Geez even today it's so much easier to get anything if you really wanted it, we didn't have the internet to just buy the goods online. How many of us just walk right into our Dr.'s office and say I'm a little stressed today and they give us a rx for *****. Kids today have no idea how easy they really have it...

I know this because I have a younger bro, you can get directions on the net and extract the dxm from Nyquil and get very high. It is apparently a very common thing and he and all his friends do it. It's crazy you use either (sp) and lighter fluid and who knows what else. No this is not something I do but my bro has told me all about it.
