Yes recently announced the dates for their 40th anniversary tour. First tour in 5 years for these guys. I've never seen them, but a good friend of mine is a huge prog-rock fan and wants to check them out.

Anybody here ever seen them?

Hey Eric, your friend would like my friend...he wrote an entire book about YES. :o :lol: And of course he always criticized my taste in music. :roll:

I saw them in 1973 when I was in college. The best thing I can is the girl I took to the show was hot.

I have been listening to Yes since the early 70s
I last saw them a few years ago in Tampa

They didn't play as much of the "old" stuff as I would have liked,
but it was a good show.

The crowd was much more mellow,
and certainly a lot older than back in the day,
but folks of all ages seemed to enjoy the show.

I will go see them again when the show hits Florida

I've seen them a few times in the last couple of years. In Hartford with Kansas. This was the Masterworks Tour, where they did only deeper cuts. Also saw them on the Symphonic tour. And again when Rick Wakeman came back. Pretty amazing musicians with a very dedicated and critical fanbase.
And as I grow older, there is so much that I do not know. I'm drawn to those who are bolder and go where no one dares to go...
