Dean what are the possible locations this year? I hear Hooters may be changing . . . Anything from the coconut telegraph on this?
I stole this from another thread:

Thanks Dean. Any idea where LMS will be held this year?
It should still be at Hooters this year....although we likely will have to find a new home for it in 2009

It's likely Hooters will still be the place for the party in 2008. It has been great for the past few years, especially with the PH rates from Mike at TropoTravel.

My thoughts? If you are planning on going to Vegas, book a room now at a cheap rate, and wait for Mike's group rate - you can always cancel the old rate.

I can't wait for Vegas this year. The Vegas shows are always the best. I'm heading to Vegas next week - Volcano nachos and buckets of Landshark await!

If they are going to go on sale in less than a week, should the dates be announced very soon?

No, I mean "officially" announced. As in, on Buffett's site or on Ticketmaster.

I understand what you are saying.

I am fairly new here, just signed up last year, but have been lurking long enough to know that when dates are posted they can be taken as gospel (except for the guy that posted the whole 70+ show schedule  ).

I just want to see them officially posted so I can start making travel plans!

Newbie here to posting, but up until last year hadn't missed a Vegas show in 10 yrs. Can someone tell me about Mike at TropoTravel, how do I find him and what I need to do to get in on the group rate? We are definitely traveling to for the 18th show!

He'll probably show up in a bit. Tropotravel.com is the old site, but hasn't been updated lately. Regardless, a group rate will pop up in a bit.
