The last batch of laundry is in and the packing begins. Hubby grimaced when I suggested we leave early to get to AC to avoid traffic. He desperately wanted to sleep late so... compromise. We're leaving home around 12 noon praying that we'll beat the beach traffic as we travel down the GSP.

We're staying at Trump Plaza. I am so excited! First time in AC! Beach bars this evening, Ducktown and show tomorrow. :) :) :)

I found a great badgeholder for my BN tag---black beads with pink flamingos. I gotta grow up.

See you on Sunday!

For you straglers:

DJ Jeff Allen has sent you a message on Meet the Phlockers.

Hi Gang,

We are heading out the door and on our way to Atlantic City. Saturday night from 6 to 1 and Sunday from 1 PM til 10, we will be at Bally's Bikini Beach Bar with Howard Livingston and Mile Marker 24. Stop by on Sunday to win one of those FIVE pairs of Jimmy Buffett tickets or one of the TWO Bahamas cruises! If you can't make it down, never fear...Radio Jimmydreamz is here! We'll be broadcasting LIVE all day on Sunday!

I'm in AC now. Just finally got up - it was a late one last night. My group (two couples) had a great time at the Howard Livingston show last night, however the break music sucked! It was hip-hop and LOUD. The bartender assured me that tonight the DJ is a trop guy - which the posting above tells me is true!

After Howard's show we walked the boardwalk and hit a few different bars - bring a jacket - it was cool on the beach late at night.

The traffic coming in was not great - we were glad we didn't take the 322 short cut - we heard there was stand-still traffic there. We never hit a stand-still, but we were down to 30 at times.

Took a quick walk outside a few minutes ago and it's hot hot hot! A perfect beach day - so why am I sitting here on the computer?

Good question - I am still home - you have no excuse - get your butt outside! Thanks for the wardrobe tip! My hubby was laughing at me about bringing a sweatshirt!
