I have hit the "I am so excited, will I sleep tonight?" moment. I am in Cape May, having a few drinks, and wishing I had gotten Mac tickets. Oh well, I am seeing Frinzi for the first time and Buffett tomorrow night. I have the map and bar crawl all set. Can't wait to see everyone again. Until then, fins up!

It's here! It's here! It's here! The day is finally here! Greetings from Atlantic City. We're staying at Trump Plaza right next to Boardwalk Hall. The sky is clear and gorgeous. There were quite a number of parrotheads at the Bikini Beach Bar last night- went there because the cover charge was half of what the Trump beach bar was charging... but we'll be at the Trump beach bar tonight -hubby did very well at the slots in Ceasars yesterday .

Lazing around this morning, probably go to the slots again.. then Ducktown this afternoon.

Howard Livingston & the Mile marker 24 band was GREAT. Bally's ticked us off though. The charged a $5 cover & $8.50 for well drinks, They have signs all over the casino about free cover, but when you get there it's $5. same for today, but worth seeing Howard, they start @ 2. Great deal at the Game for for Jimmy & Parrots, no cover, $3 Corona's they're at 3:30 then off to Ducktown for Frinzi.
Got in late last night but ran into Jeanie, Deb & Tom heading back from Mack, great show, met them coming back the lobby of the Red Roof. what timing.
Hope to see everyone else later, missed most of the gang in Philly, even though we were only a few feet away, but I couldn't get away Djing with Jimmy & Parrots.

It was great seeing everyone! Sorry we couldn't stay for the Bubba show. Frinzi was good and so was Howard Livingston and Mile Marker 24. What a complete day.

Thanks to Chef and his friend Paul for picking us up at the train station. Hello to Sponge Rob and Cheryl, Popcorn Jack, Moms Rule and Fu Corleone whom we all saw at Bally's Bikini Beach Bar. We also ran into Puckhead (Go Pens!), DJ Jeff and several pholks from PH groups from all over.

Then we headed to DuckTown...along the way along with several weird stares we ran into Pirate Wife's at 40 Sumtin and son Matt. We all continued the trip.

At Ducktown we saw all those folks and Jeannie, Irish Pirate, Yes I am A, Tropic Al, FlipFlopGirl, BeachBumm33, Born to Rum and his wife, Seas in my Veins and SchoolGirl Heart.

Sorry if I missed any, it got a little fuzzy at the end...

Grabbed a quick bite and onto the train for the return home.

It was nice seeing and meeting (...insert name here...). had a blast at the golf outing this morning. saw some friends out at trump marina (aka m'ville) then hung at Ducktown for a good while. i think the best thing i did was pick up an $8 coors light 6-pack on way to boardwalk from d'town. that eased the pain of the cover at the trump beach bar. trump beach bar was ok...nuthing special. inside hung with with Beachbumm33 til he fell for a couple 15 yr old girls. (i mean it...he actually fell...on them!!!!) finished the show with popcornjack and his pink crustacean. where do i sign up for next year?

And just like that it's over.....

Just a few quick notes before I fall a sleep...

Got to Ducktown late.Tried to catch up. I got a chance to hang with a few people Seas, BTR, the other BB! Saaw some other people that I recognized but lack the drive. I was not in "tailgate" mode. This has been a hard show to prepare for with so much ither crap going on in my life.

But lucky for me Jimmy can always transport me to that happy place!!!

We sat in 104 ADA. People behind us started bitching during the second song. "SIT DOWN!" security came and made us sit. Could not really argue cuz I did not really belong in the ADA section.

The pulled pork sandwhich almost made me puke. Nasty! Kicked my butt first half the show.

Some guy paid off a "Fire Inspecter" and used his knife to cuy down at least ten posters! Look for them on ebay tomorrow. The girl next to me was in a wheel chair and asked him for one and he gave her a Landshark sign about the size of a car license plate. Scum bag....

Had a great time. I can't beleive it's over. For over 6 months I've had a show to look forward to. Thank God he did two shows in the area this summer cuz if it were not for them my summer would have totally sucked!

Total change of subject.

Talked to a friend tonight and they said they don't think Buffett will have the Margaritaville deal done by next summer. Harrahs is p*** and is going to do everything they can to slow up the sale. He has heard that there are some serious breach of contract issues with Buffett and Harrahs. He also said that this may mean the end of Buffett and Harrahs other Casino.

I hope he's wrong!

AND snagged a copy of the setlist of the second set (JB was supposed to end with Reggae Billy Hill acoustic, but ended up doing LMIP)

But yeah, I am still in wonder over the wristband, anyone can ask SGH, I clenched that wristband all throughout LMIP and attempted to bring myself out of a state of shock. All I remember hearing was my girlfriend saying, "Baby, calm down!" over and over

And SGH got Peter's guitar pick too!

Great night, great friends, AWESOME setlist, just great great great...

We also had an awesome time!! Except....the guy behind me who kept saying "down in front!".....I told him it was Buffett and to get up and dance.

Unfortunately got there too late to go the Duck and due to personal situations, need to leave right after the show and drive home. I did not get to see anyone from BN! Hopefully next year!

Wow Jen, so glad you and Mike made it, congrats Mike!!!!

It was an amazing show, amazing weekend. We could have stood all night, we were in 206, not one person complained. We did stand for most of the night, I have pics will post them soon. Mac and Fingers, Frinzi, with Dennis from Tropical Soul, Doyle and Peter stopped by to say hello at the Ducktown. What a weekend!!!!!!!!!
