Many, many thanks to UpstateNYPH/Mike. His persistence and negotiating skills found us some incredible seats. I can't thank him enough.

The show was great. The set list was great. The band was on. Everyone on stage was having fun; I swear I even saw Roger Guth smile. :o

Just an amazing evening.

Oh, oh! And talk about karma and what goes around comes around.... MIKE CAUGHT ONE OF JIMMY'S WRISTBANDS!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
Wow Jen, :o so glad you and Mike made it, congrats Mike!!!!

It was an amazing show, amazing weekend. We could have stood all night, we were in 206, not one person complained. :P We did stand for most of the night, I have pics will post them soon. Mac and Fingers, Frinzi, with Dennis from Tropical Soul, Doyle and Peter stopped by to say hello at the Ducktown. What a weekend!!!!!!!!!

We did stand all night. And a few times the couple of rows in front of us didn't, so we essentially had front row at that point. :D :D

Who the heck springs for a front row seat at a JB show and then SITS?? :o

I NEED A DO-OVER!!!!!!! What a fabulous weekend!!! From beginning to end, it was just amazing! Mac was awesome, Fingers just blew me away, Frinzi was fantastic and Buffett was so energized, you couldn't help but catch it. But the best part was seeing soooooooo many old friends and meeting sooooooooo many new friends. Mrs Seas in my veins had John verklempt(sp?) with the boobie beer bong. Hilarious!!! One more show and my summer is over  I can't wait for next year already!!! What time do the lots open????

Springs? They were probably comped. We were in the 22nd row center, & about 8 rows in front us had people leaving before the end of the first set. Good for us, we a had clear view then. :D

I thought that for the most part the crowd sucked! It wasn't till halfway through the second set that people really started to get into it. You looked all over and you saw pockets of people dancing and they would be surronded by people sitting on their hands. By the first encore there were empty seats everywhere and by last Maango I would guess a third of the crowd was gone.

Is there anything worse than sitting on the sides or uptop and looking down seeing people with great floor seats leaving before the encores???

But at the end of the day who cares I had a great time and in more ways than one, That's all that matters!!!

Jimmy if your reading. THANK YOU for not playing Rainy Day and Glory Days!!!!! (Psst - You never have to play them again!!!)

I will have some pre show photos later. No show shots, too far away.

One last thank you to Seas In My Viens. Thanks for the help getting tickets!!! You the man. And your wife/girlfriend has nice jugs!!! I want a copy of the picture of me gropping her!!!

What a great weekend & show! Did anyone catch the video during the intermission? It started w/Tiki Bar & her hat. We even made it twice! It showed our Calvin banner & then a few picures later, it had a group shot of people in the lower set up. The people around us looked at us like we were nuts when it went up on the screen & we started cheering.
Ahhhh, the little things in life that make us happy. :D

What a fabulous, FABULOUS show!!!! We were in section 105, surrounded by a bunch of happy, dancing people. I got conked on the head with a large beachball, loved watching the floor crowd toss that shark around. My husband caught a beachball and handed it to the kid behind us (about 10, 11 years old) to toss - the smile on this kid's face was worth the price of admission. I danced with the girl in the row in front of us (she's going to Nissan this weekend), lots of handslapping when a favorite song came on. During intermission, Scott (the husband) got up to get a drink and the guy behind us tried to hit on me (he must have been very drunk-why would he want to hit on a 54 year old sexpot like me :o ).

All in all a great concert. My ears are still ringing but glad to be home. Up next, Jones Beach!

AND snagged a copy of the setlist of the second set (JB was supposed to end with Reggae Billy Hill acoustic, but ended up doing LMIP)

But yeah, I am still in wonder over the wristband, anyone can ask SGH, I clenched that wristband all throughout LMIP and attempted to bring myself out of a state of shock. All I remember hearing was my girlfriend saying, "Baby, calm down!" over and over

And SGH got Peter's guitar pick too!

Great night, great friends, AWESOME setlist, just great great great...
:D :D :D :D :D
I guess it was a clean sweep of wristbands by BN'ers....I caught the other wristband. Awesome time this weekend. Though long. Started out with Chef at Jezabelles in Trump Friday til 4am...Didn't get to bed til 7am Saturday Morning. Then again a long Saturday night bed at 6am....But I had a great time yesterday.

The highlight was snagging the wristband towards the end of the show...I looked up and saw this dark object coming towards me the guy behind me tried to basket catch it over my head...And just like vintage Deion Sanders I swatted it away in between his hands!! LOL....

Awesome time guys..Ducktown was the best preparty I've been too without a tailgate before the show. Thanks to everyone and glad to see old faces and meet new ones too...

Thanks again,

Fu

Can't wait for Jones Beach!!! Gonna recoup til then and be ready Weds!

We were in Section 106 and people were dancing around most of the night. The only slow down was after the intermissoin for the first few songs into the second set.

Hey Missing...that was me hitting on you!!! (just kidding) We were in 106! before the show there was a 6-7 YO boy we gave him a glow stick...a lei (easy everyone), and when I got a hold of a beach ball I gave it to him...then when everyone saw how happy he was...everyone was letting him hit the beach balls. I know exactly what you mean by seeing the smile on the children's face....it was a feel good moment....as was the show.

I've heard better, I've heard much worse (PNC in Holmdel, NJ, sitting in the pavillion seats). A woman sharing the elevator with us in the hotel complained about the sound, too.

What a weekend! I was in section 8 and there was plenty of dancing and beach ball action. We did not sit the entire show. I was so happy he did LMIP to end the show. Now I recover today and then its party time again Wednesday at Jones Beach!
