Or perhaps those were all the seats given to scalpers so they could re-sell for a huge profit? Cause ya know many of the dedicated parrotheads will not pay $226.00 let alone what the scalpers with throw on top of that!! Perhaps the $226.00 category is the reason why a small venue of Buffetts has not sold out over 24 hours after the tix went on sale? Perhaps in this difficult economy -- maybe Buffett should not be soo damn greedy, especially of his dedicated followers. :wench:

Just my 2 sense![/b]
This is why i'm not going. I couldn't afford the higher priced tix. I could have gotten almost as many of them as I wanted but not a single thing under the third tier price.
We lost our minds when the seats came up and saw where they were and we did it! We are in Sec 105 row B. This is the closest we have ever been. Now I am having sticker shock! I was even too embarrassed to tell my friends what I spent on them when they asked. This will be an expensive weekend but all in all definitely worth it. :D
Ciao!

I'm suffering from buyer's guilt, too! But, what the heck, I've spent too many years sitting in bad seats (obstructed, behind the stage, wayyyy back in the last row, etc.). Is that good reasoning? I'm in section 105 too, a few rows back (row EE).

I think that they played there last year as well prior to the show, first there was a reggae band and they came on around 4 until show time.

Hey, as someone mentioned in another post - that is what the government's stimulus package is for! I can't think of a better way to forget about this sucky economy then a Buffett weekend!

You can count on the Trump and Bally's beach bars. Were waiting on the SJPHC to see if they throw a party.

Anyone want to crash their meeting next Thursday in the Maple Shade/Cherry Hill/Moorestown area. It's 7 pm 4/10 @ The Quality Inn on Route 73.

I will if you will....

Buffett in AC

Post by nancy56 »

Well - we'll be there since we can't make Philly. Got a room at Bally's for $109 - so it will be nice to stagger home. It will be interesting to see if there is any "tailgating" on the boardwalk. That's what I'll truly miss not going to Philly! 8)
