Parrothead victim? of spotted ray impact in Marathon?

Post by Mango Picker »

Everyone probably saw the news article about the lady tragically hit and killed by a spotted ray in the Keys, Maraton, FL, Thursday March 20th....

It seems Judy Zagorski was a Parrothead... . ??

Our sympathy and prayers to her family and friends.

"In the 1990s, Judy and Steve Zagorski helped organize the Cheeseburger in Caseville Festival, a Caribbean-style celebration in the Saginaw Bay resort town of Caseville, Mich., The Saginaw News reported.

"Judy Kay Zagorski, 57, of Pigeon, Mich., was in the front of a boat going 25 mph on Thursday when a 75-pound spotted eagle ray leapt from the water and hit her in a freak collision." ...

Her husband of 33 years, Steve, died unexpectedly two years ago from complications after shoulder surgery....

"We all miss Judy dearly. It just really hasn't even sunk in yet," Bouck (her brother) said Friday.

Wow, I hadn't seen that. :o We went to Caseville for the first time last summer and loved it! They talked about Steve before one of the big shows and, if I remember correctly, Judy came out and said a few words too. :(

I was in the Caseville/Pigeon area this weekend and everyone is very shaken by this tragedy.
She was a super nice woman who I was fortunate enough to meet at a few different Caseville events over the years.

Geez...what did she ever do to the stinkin' spotted ray?

What a stupid, freaky way to go...

My sympathies to her family and friends.

Judy's legacy

Post by Mango Picker »

Sounds like Judy was a neat lady.

She left a great legacy behind, for others to enjoy life and remember her husband and her by...

The Cheeseburger in Caseville event.... and all her friends.

We should all be so lucky to do so well.

Now she can enjoy her husband's company again...

Tnx!!!!
