Hi all,

I haven't seen a thread like this in a while so here goes! This is my "summer" CD which I put together about 4 years ago. I re-visit it every year,but have not had the heart to make changes(there's no song I feel I can do without. Some would say the IPOD and various players make this sort of compilation unnecessary,but I like the challenge of only having 80 minutes to work with. Feel free to pop off with suggestions or you own versions.

I've mentioned this before but I made my own Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads 4 CD set with no Jimmy Buffett songs on it. There are a couple he's covered, but none that he wrote. Funny you should start a thread like this today, I listened to it in my office this afternoon.

Just a week ago I put Boats, Beaches, Bars, and Ballads plus about 40 other more recent buffett songs all on one cd for my backyard Buffett cd.

I've done a mix a year since 1991. I'm up to Vol 15. One year I recorded the "Live By The Bay" audio to cassette tape, which accounts for a missing volume.
I usually do the mix sometime between June and late July.

Here's the original 1991 order from a 90 min tape, since redited for CD.

A CD remix in 2000 caused songs to be moved to other volumes and some changes in the order. For example, BEG went to Vol 3 and "Under The Sea" from the Little Mermaid followed. Later on I would throw in other artist for one or two tracks. Plus segues started to flow and match.

I guess I should put last year's mix up.
