I'm not sure if any of you watch Ghost Hunters on the SciFi Network or even care/believe in ghosts, BUT. . .
They are doing a contest now for American hauntings/scary places. One of the places submitted is FORT MORGAN in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The fort is protected as of now as a historic place. However, commercial development is getting closer and closer to it. When I was a child, nothing was being built out toward the fort. Now, there are condos, golf courses, etc. Regardless of your beliefs, I ask that you go to the website and vote/rank this place as very scary. If there is national attention drawn to a location regardless of its validity, the place gets more recognition. Just follow the links, skip the intro and click the green dot on the Gulf Coast. It will say something along the lines of FORT MORGAN being the area of interest.
