An interesting article in the Boston Globe points out the areas in the country where the man/woman balance is out of whack. Who needs to move?

BTW, they point out an imbalance of men in SF and LA. I'm not so sure you should rush out there, as the man/man ratio is probably just about right.

Well, a goodly number of the single men here in the Bay Area are only interested in each other. That helps.

And many of the rest of the surplus are geeks with no social life.

As a het male with social skills, I'm not too badly off.

Well, I guess this explains a lot about my remaining single friends:
Male- Denver
Female-Northern NJ, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans.

Better than the alternative theory that they are all too persnickety and generally greatly underestimate their own special quirks.
