Nah, not me! I'm not the least bit excited! If you believe that, I have prime swamp land in Florida to sell.

We pulled it off! For years my fiancee and I have been talking about doing a Buffett show in lieu of a reception on our wedding day. We're getting married in Vegas on 10/25, and taking our wedding party to the Buffett show. Can't wait!!!

Now the big question... should we wear our wedding attire, or change in to standard Buffett show gear. :)

If you wear the wedding costumes, you'll probably have folks buying you drinks all night. That wouldn't be too bad.

Me too, for what it's worth! You can always throw a leis or beads on to PH it a little.

I agree.. However if you aren't comfotable in the dress wear your parrothead stuff and your veil!!! That way you still have the best of both worlds!!!

Free drinks are good, but spilled drinks are not. Remember not everyone at the show is a Professional. There are a lot of amateurs that come out, and a lot of stains that don’t.
Congrats, and enjoy the show.

Excellent point! Poofy dresses and tucks are going to run the risk of being stepped on, ripped, or stained forever. Plus you are going to want to move around which can be hard to do in full wedding costume. I'd wear the veil and then wear PH attire.

Thanks!

All good points... standard PH attire it is!

Can't wait for the show!! We're bringing 4 first timers with us... should be a good time.

I think I'm finally going to make it to my first Vegas show, my 32nd Buffett concert overall. I talked a friend of mine into going, he's a Buffett virgin and doesn't necessarily know I plan on spending the better part of Friday night at Margaritaville to see Nadirah's show. As for planning the trip, I haven't booked yet, but from what I'm seeing it appears the best deal I can find is flying Southwest out of Indy and then staying at Circus Circus.... Any tips as to whether this is a good/bad route? I've never been to Vegas, so if someone wants to convince me that this is a bad choice, please throw any advice my way. I really don't mind slumming it, but wouldn't mind being around other Parrotheads and closer to Margaritaville and within walking distance, if possible. 8)

Bally's is the best to be near Margaritaville but Hooters is next to MGM and there's supposed to be a decent party there on Saturday. We had reservations at both but decided on Hooters. Southwest is always the least expensive for flying to Vegas. This site has the best map of the strip and where the properties are located: http://www.lasvegasmaps.com/stripmap.html

I've been at the Residence Inn on Flamingo for the last three weeks. It comes with free breakfast daily and free dinner (including beer) on weeknights. It's a short walk to the Flamingo and the hotel is immaculate. Might be cheaper than a Strip hotel.

There is no way I could do 3 weeks in Vegas. For me Vegas is like Relatives coming to town. Any more than three nights is too damn long.
