Yep I didn't realize how great it was or how rare until it ended. What an era. God that statement just sounds old.Tropic_Al wrote:Rangers vs. The Broad Street Bullies. It's taken me a few days to get over the Caps loss on Tuesday. It was a great game and series. Wildly entertaing and incredibly inconsistent referee-ing.
Looks like I need to root for the Habs now; they are the most likeable of the 4 Eastern Conf teams left (but that's not saying much).

Oh, and I was not one of the many who threw crap on the ice after the game. That was an incredible display of poor sportsmanship and I was embarrassed about that.

We watched the Sharks vs. Flames Game 7 the other night. Jeremy Roneick had two goals and two assists. I told my son, “He’s the same JR that Garth and Wayne argued over who was going to pretend to be Roneick when they played street hockey in Wayne’s World 1.” He was so shocked he called his brother who was also watching the game. They were both blown away that a guy that old was still playing.OceanCityGirl wrote:Yep I didn't realize how great it was or how rare until it ended. What an era. Just found this thread. Enjoy the gift!!! How about those refs! Guess it was not enough to have the Flyers play 3 games in four nights in 3 different cities. Not like the NYR and Pens were sitting around doing nothing for days. Oh wait they were! Screw it make the Flyers play again anyway.C-Dawg wrote:HOW ABOUT THOSE HABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They win game one 4-3 in OT
For a team that had extra days rest and the home crowd they got totally outplayed in the third period. Only a two man advantage (goalie out) on a BAD CALL could stop Flyers. Nice break on the high stick goal too...

OK that's wild. I've got to point this out to my son's, huge Wayne's World fans and one traitor who loves the Devils.Tequila Revenge wrote:We watched the Sharks vs. Flames Game 7 the other night.
