Stop holding your breath, we want to meet you at some JB shows....Go FLYERS!
The Habs had a great season!!! Hats off to them and "most" of their fans.
Jack Mcilhargey got hit with something after 5th goal.
That's one coach you really don't want climbing over the glass and coming after you!!!
Old or not!!!
Friend just sent me this. I have seen some othe versions. Hitler reacts after Flyers lose game one. Think it must have been a Habs fan that made it. Still funny!

I used to hate the Avs, but there really isnt a reason to now.
Way back when the Wings were referred to as the "Dead Wings", I'm sure not that many people wasted their breath on saying how much they hate them.
Plain and simple, their a great team(I almost said dynasty)and people other than Wings fans are going to be haters.
People dont like the Patiots, Jeff Gordon, and the Yankees, because they are winners.
You cant take away the Presidents Trophies and Stanley Cups. Yeah they might fizzle out in the playoffs again. But they are still a great team.
Plus in Detriot, our sports teams are all we have. The weather, economy and just about everything else sucks here.
The best move the Red Wings ever did was hiring Scotty Bowman. He took what he learned from Sam Pollack and the Montreal organization, and used it to turn the Wings into what the Habs had been.
Unfortunately, the Canadian dollar and the NHL's refusal to deal with the issue for many years, caused the Habs, and most other Canadian teams to almost become feeder teams to the US clubs, and only today are the Canadiens and other Canadian teams rebounding.
As a Habs fan, I know what you're talking about though....teams like Montreal, the Red Wings, NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, Patriots etc....people love to hate them.

Congrats to the Flyers and their fans. The team played as a unit and made the most of their opportunities while the Habs squandered theirs with missed open nets and hitting the post. I also think the Habs rookies showed their inexperience and sometimes looked awestruck to just be there. They'll learn from it and be a better team next year.
Good luck in the next round.

Congrats, Flyers. My Habs did not shoot like they can in this series.

As much as we love the Habs at our house, we felt they just weren't good enough for the Cup. Oh well, there's always next year. As my husband said, "Now I can get some work done out in the yard."

I don't know of another sport that posses fans like the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There's nothing quite like losing a playoff game in overtime to keep you awake for the next three days

If the Sharks win tonight....I may have to keep the playoff beard going

I was drinking for the whole Flyers/Habs game last night and it still took several more Captain Morgans before I was calm enough to go to bed.
Over time is the worse and the best. I remember the marathon game between the Flyers and the Pens in 2000. I had to call in sick the next day! It was something like 2:30 AM. Thank God Primeau scored!!!! There could have been some serious breakage in my house otherwise!!!
