Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Thanks everyone, she's a real cutie and chill as can be. She didn't fuss one time, her big brother wanted to see her toes so they took her pajamas off and she made a face like what the hell are you doing. LOL
Yeah just about every woman in the family has Anne in their name, I thought it was a good choice. It's Ryanne Elizabeth don't know where they go the Elizabeth from. And Dad is really thrilled with her name because he's a husker and her initials are R.E.D.
Her brother has been running my ragged all week, and he's passed out right now. So I'm getting a few minutes to relax. I'm definitely happy with the changes made between their births.

Congrats on being an uncle again...Ryanne is a pretty little thing. Happy for you.
Don, good news on the eye exam.
Got my 10,000+ steps in today. Only had about 2000 after sitting and playing Mah Jongg six hours today, so I did a 4-mile walk to get the other 8000+ steps.

Wed. I had 15,792~Zumba and and a walk in the park
Yesterday I had 10,215
Today I am sore and trying to decide if I want to go Zumba today.. I don't want my back to start acting up!!
Thanks for Chicking up on me!!
Debbie you guys will have so much fun!!!!
Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Way to go, Linda! Zumba sounds like fun, but NO, do not push it to the point of hurting your back.
You may just break up the day into 3-4 little sessions of walking if you have the time.
It really is confusing sometimes. In the past they always said you need 20 minutes of continuous exercise for it to be a benefit!! NOW, they say any little 5-minute walks or movement you get throughout the day has some benefit.
Keep on keepin on, but don't ruin the fun with too many aches and pains.
If all else fails....go shopping!
You'd be surprised how many steps you can get going to Sam's or Lowe's or the garden centers.

Very encouraging thread right here.
Congrats on the accomplishments and healthy news from your Dr.'s
Got to the Y 4 times this week. 2 days with weights and cardio, 2 days soley cardio.
Still weigh too much and the belly fat is like play-doh.
Oh well...aint gonna get any better anytime soon...especially after sloth and indolence next weekend for the Tampa show.

Good job at the Y, BBJ...and Jerred, glad you got a great run done!
Got my 10,000+ done today also. I went on a historical home tour earlier in the day with a couple of friends for several hours and walked 3 miles this evening.

Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Got my 10,000+ steps in although at 6:00 p.m. I had only 600 after watching The Masters all afternoon. Nice long walk in LOTS of wind.

Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Way to fight through that wind, it's been brutal the last few days around here.
Next Sunday I'm doing the KC Trolley Run, from what I understand it's all downhill. In June I'm doing the Hospital Hill 1/2 marathon and from what I understand there it's mostly all uphill. And in July WARRIOR DASH!!!! Wanted to do that last year but the closest was in Chicago and during my nephew's birthday so that didn't work. They are going to be in KC this year, it's filling up fast.
