Hey, Johnson, cool on the race (and the girl!!)
Forgot to post on Saturday and Sunday, but I DID get my 10,000+ steps in each day. Yesterday was Zac Brown show, so I actually stood most of the time and got in over 13,000 steps.
I just can't seem to get a HOLD on the overeating and eating candy and the wrong things. Tired today...but gonna finish all those there steps in a bit.

Maybe dancing wts will inspire me.
Edit: 10,000+ done

A lot of my old friends from high school are doing it. A girl I went to high school with added me on facebook a couple of weeks ago. I had forgotten we were in one class my senior year, she's a year younger than me. I'm walking through this mob of people trying to track down my sister and there's this girl coming in right behind me, I think she must be stalking.

A stalker? Ooh la la.

(Hopefully she's a good stalker and not a "stab you in your sleep" type of stalker.

Thanks to everyone in Tampa for the complements on the new body. It is a work in progress.
I learned a lesson - not to wait to start trying on clothes for the trip 48 hours before you leave. All of my board shorts were too big and so were my tank tops. I need to plan better for the next round of shows.
I was able to do a move at pilates tonight that I haven't been able to do. It definitely means my core is stronger and my arms are stronger. My flexibility is definitely better. My instructor told me tonight she has a "new goal" for the shows in June. If tonight was ANY indication, she is going to work my rear end off!

One good goal is to be at exercise instead of sitting in front of the computer listening to the concert drinking beer.
Way to go, Janice. Happy for the NEW YOU!
It just seems like I've "let it all go" and keep using excuses.

This morning was the first time back at the Y since last Thursday.
Many sins from the weekend and Tampa show in general to work back off.
Just over an hour of weights and cardio on the arc trainer.

Sounds like a good amount of work to me! Way to go!
I actually haven't been to a real fitness center to exercise for about 6 years...I think. I didn't even know what an arc trainer was, so I googled. Now I know. Which do y'all prefer? Elliptical or Arc Trainer? (I'm gonna have to get serious about this training stuff. Walking isn't working.)

The arc trainer I use is similar...but the handles are stationary. I dont use the handles anyhow. I use the elliptical, arc trainer *and* treadmill. All have benefits and work muscle groups differently. I like low impact.
Today was 30 on ellipty and 30 treadmill followed by 20 minutes shootin hoops. No weights today.

Still stepping away. Got 10,000+ in every day so far this month, except for the 1st and the 13th.
Ok, no more chocolate candy now that Easter is over. And NO more ham! I have found out that I can live without eating beef all the time!! And my husband has lost weight.
Gotta get out of the mentality that when I quit one bad habit, I don't overcompensate by starting another bad eating habit.
Discovered VEGGIE patties are pretty darn good.

Also...Bubba Burgers makes a good turkey burger when you feel the need.
Morning Star Grillers PRIME...must be the PRIME...are good when crumbled up on a salad....or with black beans and rice.
Good job on the steppin!!!
Haven't been to the Y since last Thursday...but will be back tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Morning Star Grillers PRIME. I've been trying all the Morning Star stuff and will have to find those.
10,000+ completed Sunday and Monday. Lots of yardening.

I'm take that b*****d up and hitting out first thing in the morning and then I'm heading to FINland!!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!! Seems like I have had too much fun on the weekends and I think this will be the big finale on drinking and anything of the sort for a while!!!!

Way to go Johnson. I didn't get my steps in yesterday...but I WILL today. If you can get your run in on the day before the Buffett show, I can do my steps before I sit in front of the computer to listen this evening.
I'm sure you'll get lots of steps at the concert...stay on your feet!!! (hope your feet do not feel too bad, but goodness, they do take a beating. Even walking...)
Have FUN!!
