Yea! That's great for being on vacation. And you exercised! Keep posting daily, I need the company. I'll be back to daily posting my intake and output Monday. (No I'm not having one last big weekend. My GERD has just about put me in the emergency room this last week. I'm hoping to get it under control by Monday. You may want to read the label very close. It did say at one point that you should make sure to carry a spare set of clothes with you when taking. This was a strong point for me in not buying it.srkmrd wrote:Anyone ever tried Ali? I bought it a couple of months ago but have not tried it yet.....
Starting to get back to exercise on monday. Glad to see everyone here and eager to go. Grass skirts and coconut bras....look out....here we come!!

After reading that, seems to me if we all just cut out fat gram intake back to 15 grams a day we'd lose weight.....why bother with the Alli.buffettbride wrote:This might be a good read...Barefoot Gypsy wrote:You may want to read the label very close. Very true. Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Walked about four miles all over Brookgreen Gardens. Jogged on boardwalk to get from Margaritaville to the 7:00 pm movie.
Vacation is still forcing us to exercise.
Ate instant oatmeal and a tangerine for b'fast,
split a grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich with Frank for late lunch. Water. Some French fries and one onion ring.
Dinner was a coffee and rum drink, half a crab and cheese dip appetizer on two pieces of toast and a taste of son's chocolate hurricane dessert at Margaritaville. Later "Just One" Krispy Kreme donut when we bought a half dozen as a treat for son.
I may not have eaten very well, but at least it wasn't very much.
And we did have broccoli earlier in the week that I brought with us to cook.
Last night also included a swim in the indoor pool.
Feel very sore in my calves from yesterday's leg curls and extensions.

Re: HEALTHY LIVING
Thanks, Paige. I'm going to my docs on Monday. Want to have him do some testing. He's had me on Protonix for a year. Ran out right before xmas and neglected to refill, that's why I'm in such bad shape. Everything I read says you shouldn't be on it for more than 8 to 16 weeks. I'm worried about Barrett's. Was talking to my ex-husband yesterday and he's been on Protonix for 15 years. WTF? Don't these doctors even follow the drug companies guidelines? So now with the help of the internet I'm on a very controlled anti-gerd diet. We'll see what the doc sez on Monday.pbans wrote:I've pretty much had to quit drinking, too.....my stomach is very, very sensitive to alcohol. You might talk to your doctor about celiac disease/gluten intolerance or think about trying a gluten-free diet, if you haven't already.Salukulady wrote:Thanks, Paige. I'm going to my docs on Monday. Thank you. Yes, after rereading your posts about Victoria, I thought I'd bring that up with him also. Hopefully I can get him to refer me to a gut-doctor.buffettbride wrote:You might talk to your doctor about celiac disease/gluten intolerance or think about trying a gluten-free diet, if you haven't already.Salukulady wrote:Thanks, Paige.
