Delp's role with the band had diminished greatly on tour lately the last couple of times I seen them. Nonetheless, he'll be missed.
Here in Michigan, Boston is touring with Stevie Nicks...??? :o
Seems like quite the odd couple.

First concert I ever went to was Boston back in 1986

That first album is still one of the best complete records ever made

OK... SOOOOOOOOO
the new singer doesn't have the strength to sing a whole show..
they are protecting Him with solos and Interludes..
He bails from the stage.. (probably for O2 and water)
this really is an indoor band.. they were outside and the
sound washed.. bad.. Props to the Sound crew.
they cleaned it up by the third song.. a lot.. still
a lot of Washout...
some songs I didn't know..
a lot of younger pholks were singing along with every song..
a good time..
the layering they do in the studio really requires
more pholks on stage.. another drummer.. and a
Guitar/Organ player would have more than likely sounded
better..
they even changed the arrangements on some of the songs
to avoid sounding like they need more pholks.

Maybe they'll tour with all the other bands that call themselves the bands they call themselves that hardly have an original member and EVERYONE can be nostalgically happy!!

Whoopeeee!

Does anyone REALLY need to see Boston? They're on the radio every hour everyday the same garbage ALL THE TIME. What is the point?

Oh that's right - to s*** people in to spending their money and make them think they're getting something for it.

Saw Boston/Styx last month.
Styx rocked the house, but I was a little disappointed in Boston, though my husband thought they were pretty good.

Here's the review of the show from our local paper.

Last time we saw them they were awesome...did the whole spaceship show. 8)

OK so this time I will answer both of you..

A I live in Boise.. we have had a dry spell of
music.. some good shows.. (Rush)
but a lot of junk (IMHO) music..
I try and attend some shows that I am maybe border line
about seeing
so that maybe We will get some more ( ones I really want to see)

B.I like "classic rock" I wanted to go..
