take the plane with him to the islands for a few days, drink rum, then play acoustic guitar on stage with him and the band for a show in houston (hometown) and another one in key west

This was my first thought too but I'd want him to play for all my friends, PH's and non PH's alike.

As you know, Pam, I was married with Jimmy in a former life!

All good post so far, except for the dude that said go to a Cubs or Red Sox game...St. Louis Cardinals for LIFE!

Catch some waves in the early a.m. hours together down Costa Rica way perhaps, then chill in the afternoon heat with a few cold ones, swap some stories and lie about the surf we have seen, girls we have loved and fish we have caught. Check out the local cuisine and nightlife in the evening, but not too late, because we'd be hitting the surf again the next morning, thus proving together that old(er) guys still rule.

I'd have him over to my house and have him do the dusting and vacuuming while I mow the lawn and do the laundry.

I think we all know my answer to that question....

Take flight up the coast and learn what it is like to be Jimmy! Meaning, listen to what he has to say, and whatever he want to share - I think it would be cool to be around the CRB and his family...I am sure they are like anyone else. May be do a little fly fishing....
