For those of you 'Monk' fans out there, I wanted to let you know Stanley Kamel who portrayed Monk's therapist has passed. He was found in his apartment last Tuesday, April 8, dead of an apparent heart attack. He was a great actor who had an awesome career.

Wow, goes back through my whole lifetime of watching television!
Before Beverly Hills 90210, there he was in: Diagnosis Murder, LA Law, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Cagney & Lacy, Star Trek the Next Generation, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Hill Street Blues, Knight Rider, Three's Company (Clean Cut Man), Quincy, Mork & Mindy, Lou Grant, Eight is Enough, The Incredible Hulk, McMillan & Wife, Emergency, Mannix, The Mod Squad, Mission Impossible (1969)
...and I'm leaving lots out! And he's remembered for Monk.
42 Episodes. He finally got a gig that lasted.

Boy, he wasn't very old. One of those actors who wasn't a "leading man" very often, but was memorable in lots of roles.
