That's frickin' crazy (the fire sale)!!!!!!

IF I wasn't leaving on Vacation April 22nd, I would have jumped all over that.

Aside from the fact that these brokers SHOULDN'T HAVE THE DAMN TICKETS IN THE FIRST PLACE, if this continues......I hope this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR EVERY SINGLE SHOW!

This really stinks. Tickets are a bargain and I can't go!

It is a school night - next week is state-mandated testing. That will keep people home - including me and the Parakeets.

WE would not get home under midnight if we were to attend.

The Woodlands is out of the way for everyone except the residents - and gas is $3.39/gallon.

Thank goodnes for RM.

I guess this year most people are saying "no" to broker's. Probably should have happened a long time ago. Problem is, they want the broker's to have to give their tickets away...which in turn burns the pocket book of those of us who have been trying for weeks to unload extra tickets (just because we got better seats) at mere face value. Yeah, the brokers are takin' a well-deserved hit, but not everybody trying to sell tickets at face is a broker. I've NEVER tryied to sell our extras at more than face+fees. I'd be happy just to get face right now and eat the fees.

I've learned my lesson. Many people want something for nothing...and it doesn't matter at whose expense. I guess I might do the same thing. Next year I may not even get in on the ticket grab. Just sit back and wait.

Again, I've learned my lesson. Take the tickets I've got and be happy unless I can sell them first.

This rant is officially over. Thanks for listening.

Just paid almost double for $66 tickets in AC, but have no regrets since the "available " seats were $200+. Just happy to be at the show.

woodlands show

Post by Mango Picker »

well the place looked sold out last nite but there were a few pockets of open seats under the canopy in the pavilion.

on the plus side, the lawn was packed and there was real tailgating in the woodlands finalllllllllllllllly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the pavilion was advertising before the show, tickets still available. i think the lawn seats were sold out but the reserved seats were still unsold.
