I just got two tickets on the phone. The Festival Network agent informed me that the venue has a capacity of 800 general admission seats. I have never been to the Newport Folk Festival but it sounds like a great opportunity to see Jimmy in a small outdoor venue playing some not-so-typical Buffett music.

I just ordered 4 2-day and 4 Sunday Only (Jimmy) with Parking. I had problems with orders going into my cart but managed 1 2-day pass online before calling (you get right through but have to wait for an agent).
Make sure you order parking as I think the parking situation is very tough.
Not so sure the numbers as discussed above are correct. I don't think these people I ordered from know much or are associated with the Newport Festival per se. I thought I read that the venue can hold 10,000 fans with less than that number " a limited amount" of 2-day passes (The Black Crowes headline Saturday) are sold. My last order number was 515 which means that as of about 9:52AM (first hour) I would think no less than 1030 tickets have been sold.
By the way you can qualify for group tickets at 13 tickets.
Gotta figure these sell out in 1-2 weeks MAX!

Just Got 2 at 11:15
Just got 2 Sunday Only at 11:15, I was order # 585 and #594 for parking passes. Wondering why this was so easy compared to other ticket buying experiences....
