There was one summer where I traveled M-F for something like 11 weeks between May and September. The wife wasn't too pleased since she had to stay home with a 3 & 1 year old. It got old fast. The problem is I would tell people where I went (Bermuda and London) and they said "rough life". It didn't do much good explaining I'd work 10-12 hour days in a pressure cooker environment. If you haven't live it, it can be hard to understand.
I did enjoy going to those places the first few times and I do miss it but I'd rather do it again as a tourist.

Bermuda and London......any chance you were going to XL Capital?
I never did an implementation of XL although our sales people probably met with some of those folks. I worked with folks from ArchRe, AspenRe, IPCRe, WellingtonRe, RenRe, etc. The world of reinsurance.

Yeah, some us likened it to legalized gambling. It is crazy and it's easy to see how things could go south in a hurry without the proper controls. (And now I'm hoping you are not an executive at XL and I haven't offened you.
