I know, I know, it's a horrific fear... and just verbalizing it fills me with anxiety, but that's the BIG ONE for me. :(
I understand. My niece and nephew mean more than anything in the world to me, and I fear something happening to them. Both of them had some pretty big scares early on in life, so that kind of set that ball rolling. Happily both are fine today. :D

My other rational fear is being trampled in a crowd, since it happened once before. Entering and exiting a concert venue is terrifying for me, and whomever I'm with needs to make a safety bubble around me and hold on tight.

Since you ask, YES!
Especially the ones in the building where I work.

I guess I shouldn't tell him that I got stuck in a tiny elevator...while on crutches.

And you survived, which means you definately have more inner strength than I could ever hope to have.
I'd be ready for the rubber room after an ordeal like that.

The one in our apt. building in KW was always getting stuck. Our apartment was only 4th floor (plus a row of covered parking under it, so really the 5th floor) so it was an easy walk.

But now I'm in Atlanta, on the 14th floor, and I park on the 7th floor, live on the 14th, but the stairs are controlled access, so you can't exit the stairs until you are on the ground level. SCREW THAT!

COCKROACHES! I didn't discover this fear until I moved into an apartment in Manhattan that was above a deli. We had big fat Mexican cockroaches. I made myself sick many anight after spraying too much bug spray. Needless to say, I didn't renew my lease.

Also, oddly, being in a completely dark room knowing that you are supposed to be alone, but being perfectly aware that you are not. Bottom-line, I'm afraid of the dark

Flying - or rather, crashing - it doesn't keep me from air travel but I am very uncomfortable the whole time.

Frogs - frogs really freak me out, I have no idea why. :o

I fear failure and rejection.

So if you don't like my answer, please don't tell me about it.

I love frogs. We used to have tons of them around here, and I was the frog rescuer. I moved them out of the roadway so they wouldn't get smooshed.

Now we have NONE...which should make everyone very afraid. Frogs are an indicator species...when they die/disappear we know our planet is in deep doodoo. :-?

We have frogs (or are they toads?) in our yard all summer......they are a great distraction for the doggies.....it's fun watching them chase them.....not so fun cleaning up after they catch them.....
