Bruce will be playing a benefit show at the tiny Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ Wednesday night, without the E street band. Special guests are expected and rumored. Will JB show up?

I heard from inside sources that the special guests will be the 'E Street Band'. I wish I could go but for $1000 a ticket I think not.

I'm reading the initial setlist from the show from early reports. Bruce basically came out and said he was going to play both the whole "Darkness on The Edge of Town" and "Born To Run" albums in sequence!!!-and he and the E Street Band did!!! Bruce supposedly worked the crowd as well as he has in years (Bruce's performances since the death of bandmate Danny Federici have been phenomenal) and supposedly people said that the several of the songs were played with such intensity that the might be the best versions of all time.

Bruce supposedly also played "So young and in love", "Kitty's Back", "Rosalita" and "Raise Your Hand".

Yes the guests were the E Street Band-it was announced about a week ago.
Tickets were totally by auction to begin with. Later on they offered up a few hundred balcony tickets for the set price of $500 per. Though these shows are special Bruce is touring right now and my friends and I are heading to 12+ shows so far this summer (including Jimmy in Philly and AC), have more shows we want tix for including two more bruce in NJ-and have our Rutgers football tickets we just paid for- so we didn't even thinking about paying the $500 plus. :o
