I've always enjoyed the shows. No matter what Jimmy does, I've always left a show feeling good, feeling glad I got to see and hear him. I still have the I wish he would have bit but whatever.
But I don't go to hang out with anyone. Back in the day, it was laidback. Now everyone is crazy. I've had enough of all of that.
And that's fine. It's my choice to not go. For whatever reason(s). I've never been disappointed with a Buffett show (except for the volume at the New Orleans Arena in 1999 - it was a complete joke).
I guess I've always leaned towards PLAY MORE NEW SONGS and obscure songs. p*** break for Cheeseburger and a few others.
What gets me if for Fruitcakes he didn't really do - he did Vampires. That's just a joke. He could have done half the record, the good tunes, and left the goofy and lame ones out of the show. But whatever.
The day he does Brahma Fear I'll shut up about BEG and whatever other over the top covers and silly songs as they continue. I'm not going to even start about how Jimmy isn't singing all of his own songs and is letting someone else sing part of them. That's gotten so old.
