JB getting away from the split sets now?

So is JB & The CRB going away from the split sets for good now?
I prefer the split sets, not so much from an "need a break" standpoint but just because it gives you a chance to reflect upon the first set and look forward to what surprises may be in store for the next set.

Anyone know if Landshark is being sold at the shows like last year?
I could see Jimmy saying, OK, not selling my beer...I'll play through and hurt concession sales...
Has he done this in the past?
Peace,
Matt

Which is like $20/bottle too much for you, eh?
But as to the original question: I don't know. I guess I really don't care either way, unless I was at a show and had to pee or something.

And I do like the split sets for a nice little break. I usually don't want to miss anything, even the stuff going on during break.
MY BRB has been 5 O'Clock Somewhere

he hasn't taken a break since the labor day weekend show last year at foxboro. i miss the breaks when i'm at home. it was usually enough time to make a drink.

might have more to do with weather cells on the horizon. If a cell is to hit around the time the show is going to end, he might bag the intermission

I really love the idea of the halftime shows featuring Jake, Sunny, or Nadirah. It makes sense to have them do a couple of songs during halftime, because if they were to be an opening act over half the house would miss them, because a lot of people are still tailgating in the parking lot.

I miss the intermission--as much as I love Jake and Nadirah I know I need a break from screaming! I need a beer run, I need a bathroom break, etc...I think having them do a little opening act would be cool...

Personally, I prefer an intermission, cause I really gotta go pee by that time, but if it looks like he's gonna do this years' tour without a timeout, I'll have to plan accordingly and go to the head during CIP or another song I can afford to miss.

That's just what I would do.

This is a tough choice for us.
We're undecided.
We prefer intermission so we can hear Jake or Nadirah etc.
However, the momentum of the audience is great when he plays thru without a break.
We think the earlier comment about the weather reports does make a difference on what he decides to do. We think he played without intermission at the Charlotte show because it was so cold and he didn't want to keep the Phans out in it any longer than necessary.
FINS UP!!

$11 for a margarita w/ very little tequila in it at St. Louis. It was basically a lime slurpee.

Noticed NO intermission in Hotlanta last night. Again, is this the new trend or were there weather related reasons???

I'll restate what I said previously. If you look at the setlists starting with the first Foxboro show last year there have been no intermissions.
I'd say its a trend.

Landshark was available in Atlanta last night for $8/bottle. Or you could go Bud, Bud Light, or Bud Select 24oz cans for $10.

When I saw Freddy and the Fishsticks, there was not an intermission. Jimmy took a small break when he let Peter do a few songs. It was rather difficult, though, because I had to PEE really bad and don't like to miss any of the show (even if it is BEG or CIP). Thankfully I didn't try to skip out on CIP when he played Aspen or I would have missed my chance to be an Aspen Reeferete.
That said, I like no intermission shows and letting another artist play while Jimmy takes a break. In the end, though, I guess it doesn't really matter.
