Try a Tecate tall boy, and sprinkle the top with lemon and a little red chili powder

I'm the same way. I'll drink lots of Bud, but the Bud Light gives me a nasty hangover. And the people who have tried the BL lime who have also had the miller chill have said this is much better.

That Tecate tall boy combo sounds a little lethal...

the way I rmemeber the Tecate combo is.. you take a lime slice and sprinkle some chili powder.. Squeeze it over the beer and drop it in..

Miller Chill sucks donkey units, it almost makes Landshark taste good, so when I heard about this Bud Lime thing I had very low expectations. Haven't tried it yet though.

tried it... not bad, but not good either. And it's the same price as Corona WTF. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of drinkin bud

That's what my chef was saying, that they wanted $7.00 for a six-pack. At that price, get a regular six pack of bud light, buy a lime and save yourself a buck! Not sure why they are charging so much. It costs me just about the same for a case of it as regular Bud Light.

I saw the commercial for Bud Lite Lime, and I was curious. However, I was so disappointed with Miller Chill that I wasn't in any hurry to try to it. But maybe I will, thanks Jack!

I drink Corona a lot but I like Sol much better (when I can find it plus it's $$$).

I HATE most American beers (with the exception of local microbrewery varieties), but other than that, I haven't met many beers that I don't like.

Amen...I love microbreweries as well...I like a good full-flavored beer...not like the Budweiser "the great American lager"

ya, put a lime in just about any pale style beer and it's drinkable. that's how I stretched my beer money in college. Milwaukee's Beast with lime. Hey, it was voted best beer for the money.

Slightly safer approach than the frat boy one ---> donate blood friday afternoon, so you don't have to spend as much on drinks at the club

I've drank quite a bit of it in the last few daze.
It tastes similar to Miller Chill to me but that's a good thing but then I'm not a beer snob and can drink almost anything.

Since we have a couple of friends that work for Budweiser...and it was free...everyone thought it was pretty good.....

i heard about this product about a month or 2 ago...also i understand it comes in regular Bud also.....i was talking to a guy who is one of the upper management people for a local Bud distributor.....he has told me it has really taken off....and others i've spoke to say it pretty good...haven't tried it yet but will...funny thing is the guy was going to go home and bring us back a six-pack to drink at the bar!!

We gotta get ourselves to the USA so we can try it....sounds pretty good to us....

Downed a couple yesterday. Not bad if it's free, but if I'm buying it'll be Dos Equis Dark with a lime.

I haven't heard of the Bud version. We've gone through almost six cases in just over a week, and we're not much of a beer bar. (Although the two most popular beers here by far are Corona and Bud Light, so I guess it makes sense. )

Tried it yesterday...I'm not a Bud fan, but I REALLY liked this one!

At our Country Club last night we had a AB Tasting party. They had free LandShark and free Bud Lime. It was kind of funny after everyone had a free beer or two everyone was drinking Miller Lite or Jack Daniels, spoke with Rick the Bud Sales Manager and he told me in NW Missouri sales for LAndShark sucked and Bud Light lime wasn't even that good. They have a big push this next month on Both Beers in Missouri to try to help sales.. I ask our Club Bar manager and she told me that she hasn't sold 2 case of either beer since we got it in a month ago! We average around 200 cases of Miller Lite a week in the slow time and more when the golf course is rocking! Bud light, Mich-Ultra, Amber Bock are the next best sellers but all 3 added to have the sales of Miller Light!

As long as it is not like Miller Chill. That stuff sucked.

I always think of Longboard describing it as taking a half bottle of beer into the ocean and getting knocked over by a wave, filing it up and then taking a drink. That cracked me up!!!
