A restaurant I was at had a table top display with a mini-version of the surfboard thingy...I must say I now have it at my house

I have the table top display to. Already talked to the manager of local grocery for the big display, its mine if the vendor doesn't take it back

I didn't see a Landshark billboard. I haven't seen any Landshark displays in supermarkets or beer distributors. I don't even know of any stores in my area that carry it because I don't look for it. And if I did see any of the above I wouldn't start a thread about it because does anyone who doesn't live on LI really give a s***?

I saw it in the Navy Exchange in Newport..... But I don't like it enough to pay a premium price....

Not a waste of time, IMHO.

I did see one of the Billboards when I was up at Fargo, ND a month or so ago. It was out by the West Acres Shopping Center.

Also enjoyed seeing the billboard in Daytona on I-95 south of the exit for Daytona Speedway in February. Yes, they are all over in Florida.

Not a bad beer but we are more apt to drink ritas from our Maragaritaville Concotion Maker.

I believe what I said was, and after rereading my post I was able to confirm this, I wouldn't start a thread because people who don't live on LI wouldn't care if I saw a Landshark bilboard. The phrase "waste of time" doesn't appear anywhere in my post but if that's how you'd like to describe your efforts at enlightening us about how Anheuser Busch is spending its marketing dollars, knock yourself out. I didn't think anyone would be surprised that a major corporation was throwing money behind one of its brands, apparently I was wrong.

I never said I was surprised to see a major corporation spending money, I was surprised to see where the billboard was located as I stated. I understand your post and your perspective, but it is very easy to interpret your post as a direct attack towards me as I created the topic and it can be interpreted as no one should care what I wrote as it is not directly related to everyone here, but more generally people in the Chicagoland area. And also stating that if you saw what I saw, you would not start a thread on it. Maybe I am reading into it too much, and if so I apoligize but that is the way I see it.
