   Saw one in Tampa.. thought of this thread.
Oh, and I finally had one with my Cuban sandwich at Floriday's, next to the Malyn in Treasure Island. It didn't make me [smilie=puking.gif] but it wasn't great. It's just not MY kind of beer. I like more microbrews, and lots of hops. :)

We have this one here in lil' ol' Orange City too (30 mi NE of Orlando). Just saw it yesterday. Haven't tried it yet, but I like the billboard!

First, I like the thread, so thanks for starting it. Second, some of us actually like the beer, and I know a great many people that have tried it and like it as well. Third, AB is just now starting a national campaign for LS, because for a while there we were not even sure it was going to make it out of Florida, so the billboards in other states besides FL is a big deal.

I had seen the billboards last summer driving into Florida on I-75 from Georgia, but expected them there. I saw them in Jax as well, but again, that is the city it is brewed in, so it would be expected, but to hear they are now up north as well, well that's a big deal.

Unfortunately, there are still bars in my city (Louisville) that don't carry it, even though it's been there for a year now, but for the ones that do carry it, there is usually the shark fin sign in the place somewhere.

Landshark must be sellin' good. In my hometown there's a big hole/blank space where Landshark was....sold out ! And in Florida last week, it was selling like wildfire. In a town near here (college town) it was also selling like crazy. I bet the sales figures say it's doin' purdy gooooood !!! [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

I was at a 9 hole golf course on Kauai in October and the little eatery at the course sold Landshark -I don't drink beer only margaritas- the way I found this out was the little shark fin ads on the tables -the fin moves back & forth when light is on it -real cool. And yes they let me take one home with me. :D

Landshark has jumped the shark (no pun intended) if they're already using it as a prop in a fashion shoot.

Landshark Lager Display case

Hello all,

I know this may be a little off topic but thought I would share anyway. On my way to work this morning I took a shortcut behind our local liquor store and found, next to the dumpster, a Landshark Lager display rack. It's pretty cool. It's about 6' tall with 4 of 5 shelves and on each side there are a couple Landshark Lager surfboards (about 4 to 4-1/2 feet tall). Not really sure what to do with it as a standalone piece but I think it would be pretty cool to have those boards mounted on my car at the next Greatwoods (or Tweeter Center or Comcast Center or whatever else it will called next week!) outing. I'd hate to tear it apart but I really can't imagine having this thing take up space in my already small home. Is there any interest out there for a whole display rack like this? I know those surfboards are pretty hot commodity but not sure about the whole unit. Let me know your thoughts.

Steve - if I decide to keep it in tact instead of pillaging the srfboards for my car it's all yours.

Came out of a local bar the other night and while talking to some friends I looked up and there was a landshark billboard in Bend Oregon. It's pretty hard for landshark to compete with all the local micro-brews in this area.

yup, ive seen it more and more around missoula. around $8 per 6 pack. agreed that its really tough for it to break into the market here with so many microbrew options...all the stuff from WA,OR,CA,CO,AK plus the 3 local breweries in town...not much reason for people to pay $8 for an busch brewed beer. if your going that road why not pay $4 for a six pack of tall boys?

Saw my first one in MI last night on I-94, mm 46. After being hard to find last summer, a lot of the stores have display racks and signs this year.
