Live NASCAR Blog for Crown Royal 400

Post by indymiller24 »

I figured I'd throw a shout out for the live blog I'm running on the AOL FanHouse.

It's for Saturday night's Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway and was a very last minute thing. Join the conversation if you'd like!

I know, I know-- it's not easy to compete with a Buffett concert!

 I'm pretty sure it was a frying pan that he had heated up and poured water in it to show just how hot the brake roters get.

Right after the race I logged on to BN and saw that thread.......I would have been banned if I posted what I wanted to! :o

but........

Dale Earnhardt Sr. was/is/always will be my favorite driver.......and he could be dirty at times.....but that's racin'.......so all you can do is look forward to next week.

but.......

I really despise Kyle and Kurt Busch.....so to answer your question, YES, I do hold grudges!!!!

Dale Sr could be dirty at times...........like just every time he was behind the wheel. Huge double standard in NASCAR when it comes to the Earnhardts. Dale Jr only 8 championships to go to be as good as his father, and yet he is the most popular driver.....

I admitted that Sr could be dirty at times. He was intimidating, if he wanted to pass your ass and you did not get out of his way he'd bump you until you did.......BUT......he ain't the only one. There were quite a few who did the same things, but did not get the attention like Earnhardt! But, like I said earlier.....THAT'S RACIN'!!!!!! :D

Earnhardt was the best at everything he did on the race track......nothing or nobody will ever get me to change my mind on that.

True, Jr, has alot of stuff handed to him due to his last name, but he is one helluva driver. He's matured SO much over the years and he's got a little more to go before becoming a champion. He's an emotional favorite, a sentimental favorite.....all these things are true but he deserves credit for the things he accomplishes in his career.....one of those things is the Most Popular Driver award year in and year out.
