That's not a grudge....that's called making a statement with your hard earned money! I have a list of places I've crossed off because of poor customer service......
I agree with Paige...and I make a point of telling them I will never shop there again, nor will any of my family and friends if I can help it. It's fun seeing their jaws hit the floor.

Personally I think almost every Michael's employee should take Paige's former coworker's gun safety course...poor customer service seems to be a universal policy for the chain. :-?

I have a short list of people I would run over in a parking lot if I had the chance (trust me - the world would be a much better place without them). But they're extremely well-known and I'd have a lot of 'splainin to do.

But I don't hold grudges. 8)

I do not. It is a waste of today to hold on to something like that.

I do not really hold grudges.... I will just no longer associate with the person if I was really wronged, and I know that it was in no way my fault. Some people are just poisonous, and arent really worth the time or effort.

I dont think much about it though. If that person wronged me bad enough to write them off, I am not going to waste my time or energy with any thoughts, good or bad about that person.

A lot goes into that decision though.... it really depends on how important that person was in my life to begin with, and what went wrong. It is definitely not just a coin toss decision.

Can you give an example of a good hate?
child molesters..
I have THE best karma example for this type of person - that's what made me believe in karma in the first place.

That being said - I've decided life is too short (yes, I said short) so I let ALOT of things go in that past that I wouldn't have when I was younger - AND I'm a scorpio and a redhead so I tend to get angry but then the other side of me can't stay mad for long

In the past, my memory has been so bad that I forget things that people do to me or I think they couldn't have meant it that way, when they did!

In the last several years however, I was scammed really badly by someone I thought was a "good, good friend," mainly because she kept saying that. I had to get it through my head that it was intentional and malicious. It was a lesson I needed to learn.

Other times I've had people hold grudges against me, thinking I did something out of meanness, and it hurts. Really bad.

I'm a dog (Chinese Dog Year). I'm incredibly loyal and have a hard time letting go of someone I have ever cared about.
Oh yeah.. I am a Rat to boot...
OMG, the friend who scammed me was a Rat!!!

But I love you, Santa! You're a sweet, um, rat!

It wasn't money, but I call it scamming because she was good enough at it to be a real flimflammer. It involved saying one thing to your face and the opposite behind your back. And promising convincingly you're not going to do what you have every intention of doing.

Oh I couldn't either. It would show, just looking at me, and that's just very wrong, to scam someone.

But, ya know, some people lie to themselves enough, they start to believe it !! Thus, justifying the grudge, taking no blame themselves...

Same for a grudge, you carry it long enough, it can invade your very being, and that's heavy.

Maybe follow in Earl's lead. Make a list of the people you hold a grudge against. Probably, should it be numerous, you should look in the mirror, and remember Kharma...

Nah. No grudges. I don't like wasting my energy on people that I don't care about. It's hard enough finding time for the people I do care about.
