I had the extreme pleasure of seeing the Boat Drunks for two nights while in New Orleans. I was going to just turn in and go to sleep, but thought what the heck, why not. I am so glad I did. It was the best $10 I ever spent. I spoke to a few members of the band and they were all cool. Their show captures the fun of live music that I see a lot of bands missing these days. The crowd was great (the whole place doing conga line for Volcano was really fun) the band was great, good vibe, good music. I had such a blast I went back the next night. I took some pics, but they didn’t come out well. I sure wish they would play near Los Angeles.

If you get a chance to see these guys, don’t miss them. They convinced me, I am a Boat Head now.

I saw them last year at a winery. Sitting in Adirondack chairs under an umbrella drinking wine and eating crackers and sausage is a great way to enjoy a show.

The Boat Drunks are VERY good. We used to have them play at alot of our club functions until they started charging more then our little club functions could handle and still make $$$$ for charity.

I've only seen the Boat Drunks at MOTM, and they are fantastic.

We are lucky enough to get to see the Boat Drunks several times a year here in central Ill. I swear the one date that comes to mind was when they played on the riverfront and I believe the temp. was about 45 and windy. Geez that was cold.

Flipflopgirl...we love Jersey! Drove through it once briefly but we'd love to play there

And cold days in Peoria on the riverfront are more common than not...let's hope for good weather for the two dates this year!

Tangy, we'll be there for both dates, dancing, and having socials cold weather or not!!!
