I did switch teams. Now I'm a much happier liberal.

The article argues that the results of recent studies give weight to conservatives being happier than liberals. It also shows that evidence suggests that conservatives tend to rationalize away many social inequalities and general unfairness, whereas liberals are more likely to get bothered by such things. I agree 100%. I wholeheartedly believe that many conservatives rely on their own apathy, ignorance and disregard for social unfairness to stay happy. And to those who do I say - shame on you all.

I was once an apathetic, unapologetic conservative. I was a great follower of whatever the old, white men in charge thought was best.

I am so proud to be a card-carrying liberal Democrat.
