That was my first job :P

The next one was in the ice cream factory.

I have a job I really enjoy; it's mentally challenging in a good way, with good pay, good holidays and weird hours.

But I've always wanted to have my own minigolf, too. Not to mention the tropical hangout.
what's your job?

I'm a translator/reviser for Canada's Parliament.
We translate the debates in the House of Commons and Senate from French to English (and English to French, but that's not MY job) for publication the next morning. I work from 7 p.m. till 3 or so.
I love words, editing, resaerch and arguments, so it's perfect.

We absolutely have to work if Parliament is in session, but we have about 3 months of leave each year, when we can do absolutely nothing....

In my fantasy world:
Business Development Director for Margaritaville Enterprises, LLC

In my 'real' world:
Landscape Designer/Architect

I DO own/run my own business, and I'm happy with it...it's been very good to me for almost 5 years...but given the fact that I literally live with my clients, I'd like to be able to get away from them sometimes!

Yeah, unfortunately they didn't know how to treat Hemochromatosis/Iron Overload Disease back then, or he might have lived a lot longer.... :-?

Never would have given up music 20 years ago to become the "responsible" adult my father wanted. I could have still be an adult but I'd would enjoy my job more than sitting behind a desk.

I'm finally picking up the guitar again after 20 years. It's coming back slowly. Never should have hawked my gear for money in college. But it sure is fun buying it all again now.
