I'm a translator/reviser for Canada's Parliament.
We translate the debates in the House of Commons and Senate from French to English (and English to French, but that's not MY job) for publication the next morning. I work from 7 p.m. till 3 or so.
I love words, editing, resaerch and arguments, so it's perfect.
We absolutely have to work if Parliament is in session, but we have about 3 months of leave each year, when we can do absolutely nothing....
I would love to have my own dive ship down in the islands somewhere running those dive charters out to reefs and wrecks. Hell, now I would settle for working in one of those, forget having my own..lol
I enjoy what I got going on (just need to get that promotion I've been working on) great co and good benefits now (pay would be better with promotion of course). But I am saving up some money to open a little bar and grill in my hometown and have my friend run it for me. I just wanna be able to play guitar and sing there whenever I want to.

What's your hometown? I may know a good bartender.....
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.
Never would have given up music 20 years ago to become the "responsible" adult my father wanted. I could have still be an adult but I'd would enjoy my job more than sitting behind a desk.
I'm finally picking up the guitar again after 20 years. It's coming back slowly. Never should have hawked my gear for money in college. But it sure is fun buying it all again now.
