We are keeping ourselves down in the Caribbean this week and keeping with our celebration theme! This year marks the 30th anniversary of Bankie Banx's first album release and we have him live...kinda...sorta on SpoonerRadio!

This show is phenomenal all the way through. It features a wide selection of Bankie's best originals as well as some covers that he has made his own. This one was recorded on 09/24/08 at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa, FL but once you start listening you'll think you're at The Dune Preserve!

Don't forget to head on over to Bankie's website at www.bankiebanx.net to check out his tour dates, pick up his CD's, DVD's and memorabilia! If you don't have Bankie in your collection (other than the Live From Anguilla DVD) than you have a swiss cheese collection!

We are proud to bring you this show from Bankie Banx and honored to have him in the SpoonerRadio family! So check out the BRAND NEW Bankie Banx channel to listen to this amazing show!

Yah mon head on over to www.SpoonerRadio.com to check it out!!!

Our latest broadcast is from one of the greatest American songwriters of our time, Will Kimbrough! Not only are Will's lyrics utterly prolific but his guitar playing and vocals are astounding!

Our latest from Will is from Cheney Hall in Manchester, CT. It was recorded on 09/20/08 and is astounding from beginning to end! I should mention that this is not just Will Kimbrough but the Will Kimbrough Band! This performance is one of the finest that SpoonerRadio has in it's extensive library of music and you will be listening to this one over and over!

A great big thank you going out to Will Kimbrough and all of the great pholks at Cheney Hall! It was a memorable night, an amazing performance and a spectacular venue with perfect acoustics!

Head on over to www.SpoonerRadio.com and check out the Will Kimbrough Channel to listen to this valued treasure! Hey Jimmy loved him so much he recorded one of his songs on License To Chill! Check it out!!! :pirate:

Well, we got off to a slow start but we're in high gear now pholks!!!

It's Christmas time in SpoonTown everyone!!! Last year we brought back a ton of live goodies from Key West. This year we brought back more!!!

Last year we added a new show/set each day in December. This year we're doing that and MORE!!!

Since it the 3rd of the month you might think we're behind but...

I have just added three shows in one: an unforgettable broadcast for an unforgettable person...and I am giving the PGW peeps here a head start on everyone else. Here goes:

It is with mixed emotions that I bring to you this broadcast. The original intent of this benefit show was to help raise funds for Capt. Tony Tarracino. Little did we all know that he would pass away just 2 days later.

Capt. Tony was in the hospital at the time of this show and was supposed to be there to sign copies of his new book, "Life Lessons of a Legend." Sadly, his health took a turn for the worse but his spirits were anything but down! He called in from the hospital to thank all of his friends and family for being a part of this very special benefit.

CW Colt, Billy Peoples and the Tarracino family helped to organize this show and the turn out was very moving. This one takes place at the outside stage of Durty Harry's just off of Duval Street in Key West.

The featured performers are:

Jimmy Parish
CW Colt
and...
The Paul Cotton Band.

Paul Cotton, of course, is from the legendary band POCO.

All of the performers put their hearts into this show and it surely shines through.

With great pride and sadness, and keeping with the Key West tradition, I bring to you the 1st Annual Captain Tony Days!!!

We have three amazing performances from 3 great artists and one very special and final message from our beloved icon Capt. Tony Tarracino.

Head on over to www.SpoonerRadio.com
Click on the EVENTS button in the top toolbar and then click on Capt. Tony Days in the NEW events channel guide!

On behalf of the SpoonerRadio team and family we are honored to present our tribute to a legend...that will NEVER die!

Sail on Capt. Tony and THANK YOU!!!

Howdy pholks,
Our Christmas marathon continues!!!!

We couldn't hold back on sharing this very special show with all of you. Our latest broadcast is the ParrotPalooza 3!!!!

The lineup includes:
Gary Phillips
Tequila Tom
Jimmy and the Parrots
John Frinzi

Mizik Mizik with TC Mitchell!

It doesn't get more tropical than this! You want TropRock? Well only SpoonerRadio travels down to Haiti to get it for you!

What an amazing presentation we have for you pholks! Our latest is the video premiere of The KoAloha Ukulele Story!!!

Recently, I had the extreme pleasure of obtaining a very special, one of a kind KoAloha ukulele...which is now being dubbed as the Spoonah-lele!

During this time KoAloha, one of the premiere ukulele makers in the world today, debuted this film in Oahu, HI. Knowing first hand how incredible their instruments are, I was only too happy to bring this film to you!

What you will see and hear will amaze you! Our presentation of The KoAloha Ukulele Story features some rather astounding tales...and performances by Hawaiian icon Alvin "Papa KoAloha" Okami!

Those who were at the premiere of this film did not get to see all of which you will be viewing live...kinda...sorta on SpoonerRadio! We have the entire DVD plus ALL of the special features including the Director's Cut!

Just one quick note before you head on over to the NEW KoAloha channel to watch this incredible film, if ever you entertained the notion of playing the ukulele, now is the time and the brand to buy is KoAloha! Take my word for it, these ukes are the cream of the crop!

Well, head on over to the http://www.SpoonerRadio.com and check out our NEW KoAloha channel to learn more about the film, it's award winning director Gary San Angel, Happy Moon Hawaiian Apparel and the supernatural story of how KoAloha Ukulele came into being!!
