We get in line for tickets. About 10 minutes prior to the opening of the doors, my wife goes to Cabo to get a table and I go in and reserve out seats. Y'all are welcome to eat with us if you'd like.be at the beach wrote:My husband and I will be there and are planning to have dinner at Cabo's before the show. The last couple of times we have been there, however, the wait at Cabo Fish Taco was so long we ended up eating somewhere else.

Hey Scott, Dee and I are planning to come. Is it okay if we eat with you and Elissa? I don't think I've been in this part of town and not sure where anything is but really looking forward to it!!! I see that there is a map on the website and will try to follow that.

There should be parking on the street. The Neighborhood Theater is unique in that all seats are general admission. When the doors open, you tape your name on the back of any empty seat to reserve it. Then, you go eat dinner, etc and come back for the show.ncdeb wrote:Hey Scott, Dee and I are planning to come. Is it okay if we eat with you and Elissa? We'll get it line around 6:30 (we'll purchase our tickets from their website in advance), get our seats, and walk down to Cabo Fish Taco for a quick meal.
Look forward to hanging out with Debbie and hubby and Deb and Dee!

I appreciate the offer but may not have time to eat at that time - but I do hope to meet you and the other BN fans at the show!Tarheel Tail-Gator wrote:Elissa and I will be there. Did you hear the radio interview tonight at WBT?

1. Elissa and I are in the center of the picture at the bottom of the post. I'm kneeling with a maroon shirt and she has her hand on my shoulder.Fragile Magic wrote:I appreciate the offer but may not have time to eat at that time - but I do hope to meet you and the other BN fans at the show!Tarheel Tail-Gator wrote:Elissa and I will be there. 2. The private club thing is no big deal. I turned in a membership the first time I went this year (and never saw a card or anything). When we went for Jake, they just let us in like they did prior to the private club status.
3. I did not hear the interview tonight.

Hi Laurie,
The show was great!! The first half of the show was very planned-setlist, etc. For the 2nd half he played requests and then played acoustic the rest of the evening! It was a very small crowd and when he stepped away from the mike he told everyone to come up closer to the stage so that we could hear him. It was pretty awesome! He stood at the edge of the stage, the other members kinda circled behind him and they just played. I would definitely see them again.

Great Show last night. Just real good music.magnus & Mr Moon wrote:Sounds great - never seen Peter - too far for work night - thanks for the update!!!!
Peter played four different guitars (Two standard and two electric)
His base guitarist also alternated to a stand-up bass for a few numbers and the acostic set.
His drummer, Scott is very talented. Played with brushes as much as sticks. For the "unplugged" set, he sat on a wooden box and played great percussion with either has hands or the brushes.
Peter also has a 17-year-old fiddle player (Maggie Estes) who also played the mandolin for several songs.
He's playing in Eden, NC on Saturday and Marion, VA on Sunday
We also introduced NCDeb and her friend Dee to Cabo Fish Taco last night.
It was a great evening!
