Well you made me look. Yep there's something there....could that possibly be one of those new shirts with a built-in bulletproof vest (seriously, they have them)....either that or a brace or skin-colored man-girdle.

I tend to agree. So it's a surfing injury and he has to wear a brace to protect his ribs or back.

yes, and when they did a profile shot, it was obvious that he has added some girth in the middle....and that wrinkled white shirt was not a good choice for concealment....he's worn it on 3 tv appearances now, instead of a much more flattering well cut dark suit with a black tshirt or other shirt

Hey, he obviously was just trying to suckit in, in a soft chair, like we all would be doing if we were on T.V. It's hard to sit up in a squishy chair, especially when your 5'7". And yes, he has worn that shirt enough....maybe I should get a life if I'm aware of how many times he's worn the same shirt.....I have him taped from years ago when he was promoting Hoot, I think, he wore a burgundy shirt several times on different talk shows.

Poor guy! We analyze his every move on BN....anyone would be uncomfortable

Just to add to the analysis, did you notice that his left forefinger looks like it is permanently curled around the neck of a guitar...even though he's not holding one? Now I've got myself wondering if it is the left hand that goes on the neck of the guitar

Well we definitely know he's not a clothes horse

He does seem to pick a favorite outfit/shirt and wear it constantly for a period of time....

Exactly, not to mention the Long Island home...believe me, he has plenty of clothes in the neighborhood...and could probably scrape together enough $ to buy others in the fair to middlin stores of Manhattan!!!

I think Nutmeg's right...he's definitely not a clothes horse..and either no one is advising him, or he isnt listening!! He ought to consider that it didnt matter one wit when he was young , but that now, like most of us older folks, looking his best takes a little more effort....and he's such a good looking, sexy man!!
