Re: Rachael Ray, A Terrorist Sympathizer?
I've seen these around more and more and it's ticked me off a bit. Kinda like the kids wearing a Che Guevara shirt.BottleofRum wrote:Maybe it is just me but some people in the world are just a little too sensitive. Rachael Ray did a new Dunkin' Donuts commercial in it she wears a scarf that looks kind of like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men. Some observers, including ultra-conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin, were so incensed by the ad that there was even talk of a Dunkin' Donuts boycott. "The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad," Malkin said.... WTF![]()
Dunkin' Donuts has abruptly canceled the ad.
People try to make fashion statements out of the absurd. Right now, people who wear these, at minimum a whole lot of them, are our enemies and young Americans are being killed by people wearing these things.
I think it's insulting.
Would anyone try to make Liederhosen popular during WWII? (now, the fact that it IS liederhosen is not the point!!!!)
But I'm a crotchety curmudgeon.

Looking at the glass being half-full, I find Rachel ray's commercials annoying as hell so having one less to watch this summer is a good thing.
Next time she should just do it topless, maybe it won't cause such an uproar with Americans opposed to Islamic jihad and its apologists. And I would probably find her a little less annoying as well..

"Why are you screaming?"
I'm sure that when Obama wins the nomination in another week or so, Michelle Malkin will remind us all that his middle name is Hussein. Yes, it is. Get over it, Michelle.

Of course, the same people who have a problem with Seal and Hedi Klum will have a problem that it is dark chocolate
