Just when you think you've heard every JB song...one that avoided your ears sneaks up on you. I was listening to Radio M'Ville and heard "Boomerang Love". How the heck did I miss this one?!?!

What's funny is that this song bit me in the butt about 3 years ago the same way it is for you now.Bubbaphan wrote:Yup. I don't have that CD.buffettbride wrote:It's on Off to See the Lizard (which is why you prolly haven't heard it)
Boomerang Love is one of my most, most, most favorite JB songs.![]()
*sigh*![]()
Funny, I gotta heck of a lot of 'em!

Boomerang Love is also a chapter in Tales From Margaritaville.
The main character is Angel Beech.
(One of my favorite BNers)
It is also on the soundtrack for one of my favorite movies of all time:
ALWAYS!

Boomerang Love
If my memory hasn't failed me.....Sheryl Crow is the female background on this track. It's a great song; wish RM would dig up more of the classics to play.

"Off to see the Lizard" was the second Buffett album/tape I owned way back and one of my favorites. It has such a different "sound" from his other albums. It takes a while to get into this album, but it really grows on you. Have always thought this album is overlooked and underrated. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think I'm at the point now where I could listen to it and keep my composure.
Maybe not so with "Take Another Road", however.
