I thought there were three versions. I have the one with the light green top on the pitcher. It was $300. I have seen a fancier one with a dark red lid (over $300) and a less expensive one ($200 at Costco) that was mostly silver. Don't know what each model is called.

I have the key west model which is the light green one, if that helps, QVC still has them pretty cheap, too!

You don't need a blender to make rum punch!! $300!!!!!?

Gas here is US $1.70/gal. 'Course the island is only 60 miles by 40 miles.
So.
We wouldn't mind having a Costco, though. PriceSmart is the best we have. And that's not so hot. 45 minutes in line tonight. Euccch!

I would never spend $300 on a blender....it was a very generous gift.

Used to live in HB, well Huntington Harbour, really... that was after Barbados, before southern OC, and THAT was before here in "sweet T&T"... really liked the big July 4 parade there -- that and driving down the PCH trying to avoid hitting surfers while watching for the dolphins jumping out in the sea. And riding bikes from Sunset Beach all the way as south as you can go. But it gets awful crowded, everybody likes it! Have a super 4th!

I have an FCM and have used it a couple of times to make drinks that I NEVER could have made on my own...

I would never call this thing just a "blender"...Think of this instead as a home version of the "daquiri" machine that you see at bars and you're closer to the truth.)

Yes, it WAS a beautiful little beach town to grow up in.....still like it here, just don't go downtown much anymore. It's turned into quite the tourist town.
