I'd worry about a bar so dishonest they can't even truthfully tell you how big they are.Hooray Beer! wrote:For you Bostonians who are older and remember "The Littlest Bar" - she is coming back !
They still in the construction phases but she looks good. And will no longer be so little !

Well the old Littlest was so small you would sit on the cases of beer they had waiting to be chilledRinglingRingling wrote:I'd worry about a bar so dishonest they can't even truthfully tell you how big they are.Hooray Beer! wrote:For you Bostonians who are older and remember "The Littlest Bar" - she is coming back !

They had to move because of a sale of the building, but look to be coming back strong.
If the atmosphere is the same, it will be fantastic

"if you like getting hemmoroids from sitting on cold, damp piles of cans as part of your beer-drinking experience... come on down to the Littlest (big) Bar in Boston, with seating for all of Fenway. The Littlest Bar, where the pours are always short. Come in next week, see Kenny Cheeseney perform two abbreviated shows a night"Hooray Beer! wrote:Well the old Littlest was so small you would sit on the cases of beer they had waiting to be chilledRinglingRingling wrote:I'd worry about a bar so dishonest they can't even truthfully tell you how big they are.Hooray Beer! wrote:For you Bostonians who are older and remember "The Littlest Bar" - she is coming back !

I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.
Too much for me, too much for me
I've got to be where the wind and the water are free.

I'm happy to see I've hit a few on the list (McSorley's in NYC is a regular for me, a few of the staff were even at my wedding
, plus No Name, Schooner Wharf & Alabama Jacks) but I have a LOT more to go! This is a good list to keep handy.
I'll add this one in Juneau, Alaska:

I had a blast there on my honeymoon. Almost missed getting back on the ship due to that whole "land of the midnight sun" thing!
Have you been there Dutch Harbour PH?
Does anyone have a recommendation for the Caymans? I leave for Grand Cayman in a couple of weeks.

It is more of a local joke. Off of Duck Ave . . . I forget the exact address . . . but a neighbor of a friend (it is actally in back of my of the apartment complexes) got a liquor license and maybe the KW paper of having the new smallest bar on the island. It is just a make shift thing off of his garage with 1 tap and an old bottle of rum . . .popcornjack wrote:What do you know that's smaller?

Nice. At least you probably never had to worry about drunken tourists stumbling in and ruining your good time.drunkpirate66 wrote:It is more of a local joke. Off of Duck Ave . . .
