It is more of a local joke. Off of Duck Ave . . . I forget the exact address . . . but a neighbor of a friend (it is actally in back of my of the apartment complexes) got a liquor license and maybe the KW paper of having the new smallest bar on the island. It is just a make shift thing off of his garage with 1 tap and an old bottle of rum . . .
Nice. At least you probably never had to worry about drunken tourists stumbling in and ruining your good time.
I have a picture of it. There is a sign that you can see from the road. I will try to find and post it . . .
the guy had a real job and he would leave a cup and a sign out back that said 1 dollar a pour from keg . . . and one of my buddies would leave a dollar after filling up a gallon jug on one "pour" . . . but a few people a week would stop in.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .
Love Kalil's on friar bay in Saint Marten, cliffhanger, sunsent beach bar again sxm gwens, dune perserve, pumphouse and elvis', anguila bombas in tortola, and as mentioned, foxy's and soggy dollar jost skinny legs saint john not a bar, but i do love the park in the middle of downtwon cruz bay in st john. the local bums love to talk politics over a bottle of rum
Hope you had a chance to see San Diego's Kansas City Barbecue before it burned on Friday. Total loss.
Pretty authentic dive, even after tourists like me found it.
