Albert Einstein's paper introducing special relativity was published today in 1905. Hurray for physics!

Black Hole

1 part Vodka
1 part Coffee liqueur
A splash of Amaretto
A splash of Orange liqueur
A splash of Dark rum

our coffee liqueur, vodka, orange liqueur, dark rum and amaretto into an old-fashioned glass over ice. Stir gently

So, I went to LA for a in-person job interview. Everything went great, met with 4 different people, and the last one was the Executive Vice President.

I walked into his office, shook his hand, and there it was, right on his desk. A mouse pad that read "FINS TO THE LEFT"

I have a pretty good feeling that I'm going to get this job!

That is my reason today and probably the whole week.

Hurray for dollar drink specials! On this day in 1979, the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin was introduced.

Hearty Susan

1 1/2 oz blended whiskey
1/2 oz cherry brandy
Pour the whiskey and cherry brandy into a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve.

1/3 oz advocaat liqueur
1/3 oz cherry brandy

Carefully layer ingredients on top of one another in a shot glass, in order; gin bottom, advocaat middle, cherry brandy top.
