Celebrate Simón Bolívar Day! You know, the famous South American revolutionary after which Bolivia takes its name.

South Of The Border

1 oz tequila
3/4 oz coffee brandy
juice of 1/2 limes
1 slice lime

Shake all ingredients (except lime slice) with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Add the slice of lime and serve.

Pass me that piña colada! It's La Hae Hawai'I, a.k.a. Hawaiian Flag Day.

3 oz light rum
3 tbsp coconut cream
3 tbsp crushed pineapples

Put all ingredients into an electric blender with 2 cups of crushed ice. Blend at a high speed for a short length of time. Strain into a collins glass and serve with a straw.

Jamaican me crazy! Celebrate the island nation's Independence Day with some rum!

Jamaican Me Crazy

* 1 oz Rum (Bacardi)
* 1 oz Malibu rum
* 1 oz Banana liqueur
* Add 1 splash Cranberry juice
* Add 1 splash Pineapple juice

Mixing instructions:

Stir in a mixing glass.

Today's National Creamsicle Day.

So

Fill a mixing cup with 1/2 way with ice.

1/2 oz. Vodka or Orange Vodka
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Cream

Shake all ingredients well and strain into a cocktail glass.

Use a scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of cream & ice, and you've got a Dreamsicle. Serve in a large stem or hurricane glass. YUM!
