That's ridiculous that anyone should expect most people can just write a check for $5000 without blinking. While I understand those in the medical profession are due the $ they charge, I fail to understand why payments are not acceptable.
Exactly...I put $500 on a card, but we don't use credit much and want to keep it that way......and after that, I got to come home and tell my hubby......that kind of news always makes for a pleasant evening........

Wehn I had that issue, I had to put down like 10 or 20% in the fist month, and then I got the oh so wonderful payment book that lasted like 2 years..... it was like a car payment. Is it for braces??? Coz, those take a long time, and we got to pay over the time of treatment.....
Definitely a reason to drink.
In rememberance of my payment book, I will drink to that with you.
....to top that off, my step son moved out of our house, and in with his mother at 16 years old and she signed him up for BOXING~ 'nother reason to drink!

No just MANY fillings (three kids with their Dad's BAD teeth) and our insurance only pays like 10 percent. The reason the fillings are so expensive also is we get white fillings....I could save $$$ if I went for the old style mercury fillings we all grew up with, but I won't do that to adult teeth.
Gosh, good luck with the 16 year old boxer......at least he may keep his teenage aggressive behavior in the ring. Cheers!
And today is another day to find a better reason to drink......

5 grand in fillings? It'd be cheaper to knock their teeth out and get 'em dentures.

I did ask the dentist if I should get them all dentures with their lousy teeth, she wasn't amused...their Dad's teeth were so bad when he was 21 and joined the Coast Guard, they sent him back to N.J. for boot camp and 18 days into it, the dentist took one look at his chompers and kicked him out. Seems he and my kids have very little enamel. When we were first married, I had a car insurance broker say to me once, "Don't you know, your suppose to check their track record and teeth before you buy a racehorse?" And she was just referring to my husbands lousy driving record at the time.

Yes.
My brother paints cars so I'll take it to him so I dont have worry about deductables or anything like that.
I'm going to Puerto Rico next week so I'll drop it off before I leave and it will be waiting for me when I get back. In the mean time I'll drive my wifes car and she can drive the one with the dent in it
