Since I'm stuck in my office in NYC I couldn't make the Atlanta festivities but congratulations on the album. I'm really looking forward to hearing it.

We're getting closer-Jimmy mentioned at the Chicago show last night that Nadiriah gave him the master for her cd this week. Looking forward to the final product!

During the Pre-Show interview on Thursday night she said it should be out in about 3 weeks.

Update from the stage of the Club Trini show in Erie PA over the weekend:

Nadirah said she hoped the cd would be released by her birthday, which is September 16th.

I hope so!

What I want to know is how all you parrotheads out there are able to get to all these events? I would love to be more involved, how do you balance the job, vacation time, etc...? The more I read posts on BN the more curious I get.

Been there done that.
Give it time and you will get more into it. I am far from in the thick, but I do figure I don't do too poorly.

We also saw her in Erie last weekend and she was fa nominal!

You have a pretty cool life if you get to travel and see Jimmy in all these crazy locations. Living the dream

I am getting ready to go back to school in a week (teach 6th grade science). All I have left is BN until next summer.

The closest I get to a Jimmy Buffett show is Radio Margaritaville or listening to live cd's in my backyard.

I am all right with that though. It's a lot cheaper and I do not have to worry about losing my son in a sea of parrotheads. Although, knowing my son, he'd wander onstage and do "Fins" with Jimmy.

For the record, congrats on the new CD coming out. I am looking forward to it. You have a wonderful voice

In one of the pre-show interviews in Chicago didn't they say 3 weeks? Well, it has been 3 weeks, so this may be another when it's out, it's out!

Probably not. There may be a CD release party but if it's released that week it will drop on 10/21, if it's the next week it will drop on 10/28
